Sacramento wedding marathon
Sacramento wedding vendors have come together for a second year to celebrate the marriages of engaged, Relationship Skills Center graduates. They're donating their skills and services to provide a day of completely free weddings. From the officiant to the flowers, the dress to the cake, to the hair, makeup, event coordination, and photography, everything in this day-long celebration of commitment, love, and family is donated by the vendors and service providers.
With seven weddings and receptions in seven hours, it takes a village of vendors to make it all go smoothly. Despite the pace, the emotional significance of the day is readily apparent on the faces of every bride and groom.

relationship skills center
The Relationship Skills Center helps couples and families thrive. They promote the development of strong, safe, and stable families among those most at-risk. The Center teaches young people the skills necessary to make healthy decisions regarding their romantic lives and supports couples as they transition from being a couple to being a healthy family.
They achieve this by providing relationship skills education and support to low income parents. Classes focus on teaching communication skills, conflict management and problem-solving.

Photo Philanthropists began as a group of photography students from Cosumnes River College looking for opportunities to contribute their new skills in meaningful ways. We range from professional to serious amateur, fine artist to documentarian, and young to happily retired.
